In an era where sustainability is at the heart of business operations, eco-friendly packaging is gaining increasing attention. This research explores sustainable business models for alternative packaging, focusing on the case of corn-based paper, an innovation that effectively replaces conventional plastic packaging. The study analyzes key factors that enable businesses using natural raw materials to remain competitive in the market, as well as the growth potential of sustainable packaging compared to plastic-based alternatives. Additionally, it examines the factors influencing consumer behavior in choosing eco-friendly products and evaluates the impact on profitability and social responsibility. This research employs both qualitative and quantitative methods, including case studies of businesses utilizing alternative materials, in-depth interviews with industry experts, and consumer behavior surveys. The findings are expected to provide insights into the business potential of corn-based packaging, strategies for market expansion, and approaches for long-term sustainability. The railway brake system usually uses compressed air brake system which uses high-pressure air to press the brake shoe on the surface of the wheel to reduce the speed of the train. Repeated friction generates heat at the contact surface, increasing thermal stress on the cast iron brake shoe. The purpose of this study is to investigate the thermal stress on a prototype of cast iron brake shoe using the finite element method compare the analytical results to the actual brake shoe and redesign a brake shoe prototype to reduce thermal stress. Based on the results of the thermal stress study using the finite element method, it has shown that the location of the thermal stress on the prototype brake shoe according to the location of the crack on the real brake shoe. The brake shoe's design which includes single notch in the center of brake shoe which is can help to reduce thermal stress. The results from this study should be validated with the results from the field test to evaluate both of thermal distribution and braking efficiency in term of braking distances as well.

The research aims to develop chili Thai commercial varieties for resistance to anthracnose and Pepper yellow leaf curl virus disease. The varieties allowing farmer to reduce the use of chemical pesticides for disease and pest control, also increases productivity and lowers production costs for farmers. The development new varieties are under studied of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students by using conventional and molecular plant breeding. The new chili varieties were released to farmer and commercial companies for development for Thai commercial seed industry.

The Durian Web-based Learning Hub is an online learning platform developed to serve as a central hub for knowledge transfer from experts and as a space for experience exchange among farmers.
