Details
This project aims to enhance safety at Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. by implementing an AI-powered CCTV system to detect risky behaviors and equipment malfunctions on the production line.
Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. maintains a zero-risk, zero-accident safety policy. Following accidents recorded in 2024 within the Production Engineer Assembly Department, this project was initiated to resolve safety issues by:
- Utilizing CCTV and AI cameras to identify risky behaviors.
- Training AI models with images of equipment malfunctions, including pallets, X-Lifters, and conveyors.
- Designing software concepts to enable effective detection.
Following the installation, the area became accident-free, significantly reducing costs associated with accidents, new hire training, and resource loss.

Objective
The objective is to design an AI-integrated CCTV system to detect foreign objects, risky behaviors, and machine malfunctions, ensuring 100% safety and preventing production-related accidents.
The project aims to design an AI-powered CCTV system that integrates with machinery to:
- Detect foreign objects, risky behaviors, and abnormal operations of machines and X-Lifters in the automotive assembly process.
- Prevent risks and accidents that have occurred or may occur.
- Ensure 100% safety control by eliminating human error.
- Minimize losses regarding time, property, and human life.
- Expand the project to cover all areas, including Factory 1 and Factory 2, specifically the Sub Engine Dress Up Line, Main Line, and Sub FR Line.
