This research aims to create Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) on Kitchen Design for Residence for undergraduate students. The program serves as a self-learning tool that enhances learner engagement and improves academic achievement through interactive content and quizzes.
The research aims to create Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) on Kitchen Design for Residence for 20 undergraduate students at the Interior Environmental Design Division, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. Key features include:
- Self-learning Program: Focused on interior environmental design courses.
- Interactive Design: Created to foster learner engagement and improve learning achievement.
- Assessment Tools: Includes course content and end-of-chapter quizzes.
The research findings indicate that the CAI is an effective instructional medium, meeting the established criteria and demonstrating that students achieved higher scores after using the program.

Objective
The objectives are to improve kitchen design skills, develop the CAI program, evaluate its effectiveness, compare pre- and post-learning achievement, and promote the use of educational technology for self-study.
- To improve students' skills in kitchen design for residences.
- To develop a Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) program on Kitchen Design for Residence.
- To evaluate the effectiveness of the CAI program for the Interior Environmental Design 1 course.
- To compare learning achievement before and after using the CAI program.
- To encourage students to utilize educational technology for self-study and lesson review.
