TOOTHBRUSH APPEARANCE FACTORS THAT AFFECT BABY BOOMERS' PURCHASING DECISIONS

This study aims to identify the toothbrush appearance factors that affect baby boomers purchasing decisions. The research divide into three stages: The first stage is to classify the toothbrush appearance factors through a review of literature, research, and examining toothbrushes currently available on the market, summarizing them as appearance factors. The second stage is to summarize the results of the toothbrush appearance factors to create a multiple-choice questionnaire in three dimensions: purchasing decisions, aesthetics, and functionality. Collecting data from a group of 30 Baby Boomers aged 57-75 years old. The last stage is to summarize the three dimensions of appearance factors affecting baby boomers' toothbrush purchasing decisions and report as percentages and rank them. The research findings indicate that the most significant toothbrush appearance factor is a "Curved handle," accounting for 80%, followed by “Multi-level bristles” at 70%, a "Rubber thumb rest" at 53.3%, "Handle divided into more than two parts" at 50%, and “Offset shape” at 40%, respectively. In terms of the reason for purchasing decision based on various factors are as follows: the curved handle and offset shape give a sense of purchase with its aesthetic, While the selection of multi-level bristles, the Rubber thumb rest, and the handle divided into more than two parts due to functionality.

WHAT IS THE CURRENT ENERGY EXPENDITURE OF HOUSEHOLDS IN THAILAND ?

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the factors influencing household energy expenditures in Thailand. With sample group of 57,600 households. The findings reveal that the majority of the sample population is male, with an average age of 54.31 years, and most are married. The majority have an education level of primary or secondary school and are primarily Own-account worker (without employee), Private company employee or engaged in other job. In terms of social characteristics, the average household size is 2.71 people. Most residences are located in the Central, Northeastern, and Northern regions with similar proportions, followed by the Southern region and Bangkok, respectively. Most type of dwelling in detached houses, with materials of construction being cement or brick, followed by half concrete and wood. Regarding tenure, almost own dwelling and land, with an average of 2.88 rooms per household. Electricity is available in all households, with an average of 2.30 vehicles per household and an average of 22 electrical appliances per household. Regarding economic characteristics, most respondents have government/state enterprise welfare and receive benefits from the government programs. The majority have never borrow money from government funds. The average communication services of respondents amount to 788.46 THB, while the average household debt stands at 4,760.74 THB. At a significance level of 0.05, the factors influencing household energy expenditures in Thailand include gender, education level, marital status, job, household size, residential region, type of dwelling, material of construction, tenure, number of rooms, number of vehicles, number of electrical appliances, welfare of medical services, receive benefits from the government programs, borrow money from government funds, communication services, and household debt. However, age does not affect household energy expenditures in Thailand. The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicate that six quantitative independent variables—communication services, number of household electrical appliances, number of vehicles in the household, household debt, number of rooms, and household size—explain variations in household energy expenditures, with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.561.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF PACKAGING FOR KLUMKAPIKLONGDANCHUMCHON 3 COMMUNITYENTERPRISE KLONG DAN SUBDISTRICT BANG BO DISTRICT SAMUT PRAKANPROVINCE

This research aimed 1) to study the problems and needs in the packaging design of the community enterprise group 2) to develop packaging for the community enterprise group 3) to study the satisfaction with the packaging design of the members of the Klong Dan Shrimp Paste Community Enterprise Group 3 Klong Dan Subdistrict, Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan Province, consisting of 9 members The study found that the community enterprise group faced the problem of lacking suitable packaging for souvenirs and had a need to develop packaging that is appropriate for this purpose. The packaging material selected was paper, with a rectangular shape including a handle for portability It can be folded for easy transportation and stacked for storage, while maintaining durability The packaging color used was light brown, and the label color was white The label included the following details: shrimp paste recipe, ingredients, manufacturing and expiration dates, the background of the community enterprise group, a QR code, phone number, a short story, group name, production site, as well as illustrations of the group’s location and red krill. The results of developing packaging for the community enterprise group indicated that the new packaging design increased the credibility of the product, building customer confidence in the product. Regarding the satisfaction with the packaging design among the group members, it was found that Packaging Design 1 had the highest level of satisfaction (x ̅ = 4.57, S.D. = 0.22). Among the aspects, color received the highest satisfaction score (x ̅ = 4.74, S.D. = 0.06), followed by the label (x ̅ = 4.69, S.D. = 0.10), while the lowest was the properties aspect, which was rated at a moderate level of satisfaction (x ̅ = 3.83, S.D. = 1.58), respectively.
