This project focuses on converting old pick-up trucks into electric two-row taxis (Songthaew) to reduce the high initial costs of EV adoption for operators and mitigate environmental pollution caused by internal combustion engines.
The project focuses on the conversion of old pick-up trucks into electric two-row taxis (Songthaew). This approach addresses the high initial cost of electric vehicles, which remains a significant barrier for operators despite the lower operational costs of EVs compared to fossil fuels. By converting existing vehicles, the project aims to promote the transition to electric mobility and reduce environmental pollution caused by internal combustion engines.

Objective
The objectives are to develop knowledge on converting old pick-up trucks to electric, create low-cost electric two-row taxis, and disseminate this conversion expertise.
- To develop knowledge on converting old pick-up trucks into electric vehicles.
- To convert old pick-up trucks into low-cost electric two-row taxis.
- To disseminate knowledge regarding the conversion of old pick-up trucks into electric vehicles.
