Details
This project investigates the utilization of coconut husk and rubber latex to create ceiling panels with thermal insulation properties. The methodology includes mixture design, production, and testing against TIS 219-2552 standards.
The methodology involves the following steps:
- Planning the project
- Designing the mixture for the coconut husk and rubber latex composite ceiling panels
- Producing the composite ceiling panels
- Testing the product for properties according to TIS 219-2552 for gypsum ceiling boards
- Summarizing the test results


Objective
The objectives are to investigate the use of coconut husk and rubber latex in construction, determine the optimal mixture ratio, and test the resulting ceiling panels according to TIS 219-2552 standards.
