A Modern Ultrasonic Cleaning Tank Developed for the Jewelry Manufacturing Process and Its Cleaning Efficiency

Abstract

Ultrasonic cleaning tank is a machine that many factories widely used to clean objects. At one factory, a problem occurred in the cleaning process, resulting in the factory not being able to clean objects, but cracks also appeared on some objects. It was anticipated that these were caused by uneven acoustics pressure distribution which resulted in unsuitable cavitation This directly affected cleaning performance within the tank. In order to improve the tank's efficacy, in this research, we use Harmonic Response Analysis in ANSYS simulate simulate the occurrence of acoustic pressure in the tank to find the appropriate conditions of factors affected the intensity and the distribution pattern of acoustic pressure in ultrasonic tank, including the position of object, power, ultrasonic frequency and a suitable type and placing position of the transducer for the tank. Reliability of the simulate results was validate by the actual result from the foil corrosion test and the ultrasonic power probe. We found that objects receive different pattern of corrosion at each location. When temperature increasing the intensity of cavitation was increased. When we increase the ultrasonic frequency, acoustic pressure that is evenly dispersed throughout the tank.

Innovation in Cotylelobium lanceolatum Craib Extract in the Form of Nano Silver for Diabetic Wound Healing

Diabetes is a significant global health issue, particularly due to complications related to diabetic wounds. Studies indicate that approximately 15-25% of diabetic patients develop foot ulcers, with more than 50% of severe cases leading to amputation. This results in a substantial decline in the quality of life for patients. Current treatments for diabetic wounds face challenges such as antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections and delayed wound healing, highlighting the need for innovative solutions to accelerate the healing process and reduce the risk of limb loss. Cotylelobium lanceolatum Craib, a medicinal plant long utilized in traditional Thai medicine, is known for its anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. This study focuses on developing an extract from Cotylelobium lanceolatum Craib in the form of nano silver (Nano Silver) to enhance the effectiveness of diabetic wound treatment. Nano silver technology enables deeper penetration into the skin, provides potent antibacterial activity, and promotes wound healing by reducing inflammation and stimulating tissue regeneration. The development of nano silver derived from Cotylelobium lanceolatum Craib extract is expected to help reduce chronic wounds in diabetic patients, lower the risk of infection, and decrease the incidence of limb amputation and mortality associated with diabetic wound complications. This research represents a significant step toward creating a safer and more effective treatment alternative for diabetic wound care.

COSTS RETURNS OF RICE CULTIVATION USING CHEMICAL PESTICIDES AND RICE CULTIVATION USING BIOPRODUCTS IN COMBINATION WITH CHEMICAL PESTICIDES BY FARMERS IN BANG PHLI NOI SUBDISTRICT BANG BO DISTRICT SAMUT PRAKAN PROVINCE

During this cooperative education program at the Bang Bo District Agricultural Office, Samut Prakan Province, a study was conducted on the costs and returns of rice cultivation using chemical inputs compared to using biopesticides in combination with chemical inputs among farmers in Bang Phli Noi Subdistrict, Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan Province. The objectives of this study were: To examine the costs and returns of rice cultivation using chemical inputs compared to using biopesticides in combination with chemical inputs among farmers in Bang Phli Noi Subdistrict, Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan Province. To explore the challenges of using biopesticides in rice cultivation among farmers in Bang Phli Noi Subdistrict, Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan Province. The study found that in the 2024/25 growing season, the total production cost for rice cultivation using biopesticides in combination with chemical inputs was 5,099.50 THB per rai, consisting of variable costs of 4,432.50 THB per rai and fixed costs of 667.00 THB per rai. Meanwhile, the total production cost for rice cultivation using only chemical inputs was 5,129.00 THB per rai, consisting of variable costs of 4,390.00 THB per rai and fixed costs of 739.00 THB per rai. The cost difference between the two methods was 114.50 THB per rai. Regarding the returns on rice cultivation in the 2024/25 growing season, the field using biopesticides in combination with chemical inputs yielded 1,000.00 kilograms per rai, with an average selling price of 8,500.00 THB per rai. Farmers earned a total revenue of 8,585.00 THB per rai and a profit of 3,485.50 THB per rai. On the other hand, the field using only chemical inputs yielded 1,000.00 kilograms per rai, with an average selling price of 8,500.00 THB per rai. Farmers earned a total revenue of 8,500.00 THB per rai and a profit of 3,371.00 THB per rai. The total income difference between the two cultivation methods was 114.50 THB per rai. In terms of challenges related to the procurement of biopesticides, it was found that biopesticides are difficult to obtain, with limited or no availability in certain areas. Additionally, relevant agencies do not provide continuous support for biopesticides, making this the most significant issue. Regarding the use of biopesticides, the most critical challenge is that once fresh biopesticides are mixed, they must be used immediately and cannot be stored, as their effectiveness deteriorates over time.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT THE USE OF THE INTEGRATED FARMING SYSTEM BOARD GAME FOR THIRD-YEAR VOCATIONAL CERTIFICATE STUDENTS AT RATCHABURI COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY

This study aims to develop a board game for teaching Integrated Farming System and to examine the learning achievement of third-year vocational certificate students at Ratchaburi College of Agriculture and Technology who used the board game as a learning tool. The research instruments included a board game developed using the Educational Boardgame Design Canvas. The board game is a strategic planning game consisting of five game boards, and 166 cards categorized into four types: 30 event cards, 60 special action cards, 16 character cards, and 60 production cards. It also includes 180 resource tokens of six kinds: 60 water tokens, 60 soil tokens, 45 plant product tokens, 45 animal product tokens, 45 aquatic product tokens, and 45 currency tokens. Additional components include one die and five player aid sheets. The game emphasizes planning and decision-making in integrated farming to maximize production and achievement points under game conditions and simulated scenarios. Research tools also included pre-and post-tests and a satisfaction questionnaire. The results indicated that students’ average scores significantly increased at the .05 level after using the board game, with the average pre-test score at 6.54 and the post-test score rising to 17.71. Additionally, an analysis of student satisfaction with board game-based learning revealed a high level of satisfaction (mean score = 4.45). The highest-rated aspects were the teacher’s implementation of post-tests (mean score = 4.69) and the engaging and diverse teaching methods used (mean score = 4.66).
