This project introduces an Automated Vertical Metal Sheet Storage System integrating microcontroller devices. It features an aluminum structure and a control system using Mitsubishi PLC, including weighing capabilities, a touch screen interface, and safety light curtains.
This project aims to introduce an Automated Vertical Metal Sheet Storage System. The project is divided into two main sections:
- Structure: Designed and drawn through a computer program and constructed using major aluminum structures.
- Control System: A microcontroller control system using the GX Works 2 program from Mitsubishi PLC, designed to control the up, down, and sideways movement of the pallet.
The system includes weighing capability, a touch screen display for information, and safety light curtains to protect users. Tests have shown that the machine operates normally with minimal errors within expected ranges.

Objective
The objectives are to study the design of the automated vertical metal sheet storage system, the microcontroller devices used for control, and safety protection equipment.
- To study the design methods for an automated vertical metal sheet storage system.
- To study the microcontroller devices used to control the automated vertical metal sheet storage system.
- To study safety protection equipment.
