   This project is aimed at researching, analyzing, and optimizing the efficiency of the drinking water production process while simultaneously minimizing health risks for individuals with disabilities through the application of ergonomic principles. Furthermore, the project seeks to develop material handling equipment that enables workers to execute tasks by ergonomic principles, thus reducing physical strain. The focus of this study lies in the operations of a water production facility managed by a vocational rehabilitation center for individuals with disabilities in Bangkok and its surrounding areas. This facility functions as a small-scale water production enterprise, encompassing production, packaging, and transportation processes, utilizing both machinery and manual labor, with an emphasis on employing individuals with disabilities.
   Initial data analysis indicates that workers are exposed to significant health risks due to abnormal work postures arising from tasks such as bending and heavy lifting, which have been identified as primary issues in the workplace. To mitigate these risks, it is imperative to explore problem-solving methods or enhance work processes within constraints that do not impose additional burdens or limitations on the mobility of individuals with disabilities. Consequently, the analysis of work-related issues relies on industrial engineering techniques, specifically utilizing risk assessment methodologies such as REBA and OWAS for evaluating abnormal work postures. The ultimate goal is to enhance work postures under ergonomic principles by designing material handling equipment that adheres to international standards.

Objective

   ปัจจุบันในอุตสาหกรรมส่วนใหญ่อาศัยแรงงานที่เป็นบุคคลปกติในการผลิต และมีการพัฒนาอย่างรวดเร็วจนทำให้เทคโนโลยีเข้ามามีบทบาทสำคัญในการผลิตมากขึ้นเพื่อเพิ่มผลิตภาพ โดยสังคมที่มีความเปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างรวดเร็วนั้นอาจทำให้เกิดความไม่เสมอภาคและความไม่เท่าเทียม เช่น ผู้พิการที่ขาดการสนับสนุนในด้านโอกาสในการทำงาน และการพัฒนาทักษะต่าง ๆ ในสังคม ซึ่งการให้โอกาสในทุกกลุ่มของสังคมนั้นมีความสำคัญเป็นอย่างมากควรมีความเท่าเทียมเพื่อให้ทุกกลุ่มในสังคมสามารถมีความรู้ ความสามารถ และมีทักษะในการสร้างอาชีพและสร้างคุณค่าให้กับทุกกลุ่มในสังคม
   ในกรณีนี้เป็นการศึกษาการทำงานของโรงงานผลิตน้ำดื่มของศูนย์ส่งเสริมอาชีพคนพิการแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพ ฯ และปริมณฑล ซึ่งจัดเป็นผู้ประกอบการผลิตน้ำดื่มขนาดย่อยที่มีกระบวนการผลิต การบรรจุภัณฑ์  และการขนส่ง โดยมีการใช้เครื่องจักรและใช้แรงงานคนในการผลิตซึ่งใช้แรงงานที่เป็นผู้พิการเป็นหลัก
   จากการศึกษาข้อมูลเบื้องต้นมีข้อความแห่งปัญหาคือ พนักงานมีความเสี่ยงต่อสุขภาพสูงจากท่าทางการทำงานที่ผิดปกติ ทำให้ทางผู้จัดทำได้ศึกษาและออกแบบอุปกรณ์เพื่อช่วยในการทำงานและลดท่าทางการทำงานที่ไม่ถูกต้องตามหลักการยศาสตร์ เพื่อให้การทำงานของคนพิการมีความเสี่ยงต่อสุขภาพลดลงและมีประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานเพิ่มมากขึ้น
