Housefly( Musca domestica) is the  medical and veterinary insect pest.It  is a nuisance and   a mechanical vector of serious human and animal diseases. Most housefly suppression is based on synthetic insecticides,and housefly is resistant to conventional insecticides have been reproted.Moreover, most of synthetic insecticides are negative effects to human,  environment, and non-target species. Green repellents have the potential to be safe, and alternative agents for housefly management in house, hospital, animal frams,and other sensitive areas.     

Objective

แมลงวันวันบ้านก่อให้เกิดความรำคาญและเป็นพาหะนำโรคมาสู่มนุษย์และสัตว์เลี้ยง เช่น อาหารเป็นพิษ ท้องร่วง  โรคหนอนแมลงวัน ไข้หวัดนก และพยาธิต่างๆ การกำจัดแมลงวันบ้านที่เหมาะสม เป็นแนวทางที่ดีในการลดการระบาดของโรคต่างๆเหล่านี้ได้ โดยเฉพาะในบริเวณที่ต้องการหลีกเลี่ยงการใช้สารเคมีสังเคราะห์ในกลุ่มเปราะบางทั้งผู้ป่วย เด็กและผู้สูงวัย การใช้สารไล่แมลงวันบ้านจากพืช ย่อมให้ผลดีเพราะปลอดภัยต่อผู้ใช้และไม่มีพิษตกค้างสะสมในสภาพแวดล้อม
