In Thailand, overcrowding in prison has long been an issue. The primary causes of the problem are recidivism and a lack of resources for rehabilitation. Every aspect of the prison system, including welfare provision, behavior modification, safety, and the national budget allocated to inmate care, is impacted by the factors affecting the living conditions of prisoners. Therefore, overcrowding in prisons is a serious problem for all pertinent institutions. The community's and the prison's cooperation will be crucial in finding a long-term solution to the overcrowding problem. Day Release Rehabilitation Center is the result of the problem. I approached the area's study, research, and design intending to reduce recidivism through the use of architecture. Therefore, I have studied, researched, and designed the area based on the idea of utilizing architecture to reduce recidivism, which is a gathering place for inmates and people in society.
