In response to the component part requirements from the Window-Ass'y department, which involves assembling components for delivery to customers, the team has studied and analyzed the issues and proposed solutions to enhance the production efficiency of Window-Part to meet customer demands.
Upon the study, it was found that the critical problems affecting productivity are the discontinuity in workflow, process bypasses, and inconveniences in the production line, which lead to an inefficiency in production. To address these issues, the team employed workflow diagrams with the objective of reorganizing the production line to ensure continuous work between processes without bypasses. This created more space for easy movement for the workers and resulted in a cleaner and more organized production line. Additionally, this research collaborated with Thai Steel Cable Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of internal control cables for automobiles and motorcycles, including window regulator sets, to reorganize the production line. This reorganization also aimed to support the implementation of automation systems in the production line in the future.
