"Controlling cultivation is considered crucial, whether it is managing the quality and quantity of production. The key elements to control in crop cultivation are water and moisture. The development project of an automated system for controlling soil moisture and watering vegetables in a greenhouse aims to seek knowledge and study the efficiency of the soil moisture control system and automatic vegetable watering. The objective is to leverage Internet of Things (IoT) technology for agricultural benefits. This is achieved by using Arduino IDE programming to simulate through the ESP-32 board and incorporating sensors to measure soil moisture and automate watering. This system enhances the efficiency of greenhouse plant care and conserves energy through the utilization of modern technology in agricultural process control."

Objective

      ปัจจุบันคนไทยหันมาใส่ใจดูแลรักษาสุขภาพมากขึ้น การบริโภคผักผลไม้เป็นปัจจัยหนึ่งที่ช่วยเสริมสร้างสุขภาพร่างกายให้แข็งแรง ซึ่งผักปลอดสารพิษเป็นตัวเลือกหนึ่งที่ได้รับความนิยมจากผู้บริโภคมากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ ซึ่งการปลูกผักปลอดสารพิษส่วนใหญ่จำเป็นต้องอาศัยโรงเรือนในการปลูก   การควบคุมการปลูกนับเป็นสิ่งสำคัญประการหนึ่ง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการควบคุมคุณภาพ และผลผลิต ซึ่งสิ่งสำคัญที่ต้องควบคุมในการปลูกพืช ก็คือน้ำ และ ความชื้น ซึ่งเดิมมักควบคุมโดยใช้แรงงานคน ซึ่งทำให้เสียทั้งเวลา และเป็นการเพิ่มค่าใช้จ่ายด้านแรงงานอีกด้วย ในขณะที่ปัจจุบัน เทคโนโลยีเข้ามามีบทบาททางการเกษตรมากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะการใช้ Internet of thing เข้ามาช่วยควบคุมการทำงานต่างๆได้มากขึ้น ด้วยเหตุนี้จึงเป็นที่มาของโครงการ ระบบควบคุมความชื้นในดินและรดน้ำผักในโรงเรือนอัตโนมัติ
