The Clean Fuel Vehicle Performance Test Service Unit provides testing for electric and petroleum-fueled vehicles. It serves as a research prototype for clean energy, utilizing advanced tools like the Chassis Dynamometer and engine exhaust analyzers.
Clean Fuel Vehicle Performance Test Service Unit provides performance and efficiency testing services for electric vehicles and vehicles using petroleum fuels, including being a prototype for research projects on clean fuel energy that is environmentally friendly. The main testing tools are:
- Chassis Dynamometer
- Engine Combustion Exhaust Analyzer
The service unit provides measurement and testing services in accordance with the announcement of the Department of Land Transport on determining the power of electric motors used to drive vehicles according to the Motor Vehicle Act B.E. 2563 for all types of electric vehicles, such as modified electric motorcycles, modified electric tuk-tuks, and modified electric cars, etc.
Objective
The unit aims to generate revenue through performance testing for electric and petroleum vehicles, oil change services, and by serving as a knowledge transfer center for training and internships.
- To generate revenue from performance and power efficiency testing services for all types of electric vehicles, such as electric motorcycles, electric tuk-tuks, electric cars weighing up to 5 tons, trucks, buses, and tractor heads.
- To generate revenue from performance and power efficiency testing services for petroleum-fueled vehicles, as well as analysis of combustion pollutants and black smoke from engines.
- To generate revenue from oil change services for vehicles weighing up to 5 tons.
- To serve as a knowledge transfer center, generating revenue through training programs and providing internship opportunities for students, government agencies, private sectors, and the general public.
