CMKL University invites students, teachers, and visitors to experience AI Engineering in action at KMITL EXPO “ลาดกระบังนิทรรศน์” through a 5-day program of talks, hands-on workshops, booth activities, and AI project showcases.

The program introduces key areas of modern AI, from machine learning and data science to cybersecurity, Creative AI, Physical AI systems, Agentic AI, and supercomputing. Participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from CMKL instructors and engineering teams, explore real-world AI applications, and discover future pathways in AI, engineering, and innovation.

Sep 2 | Day 1: Supervised & Unsupervised Learning (ENG)

Instructor: Fawad Asadi

• Session Focus:Understanding different machine learning paradigms and their real-world applications.
• Learning Experience:Participants will learn the difference between supervised and unsupervised learning, how machines identify patterns from data, and how these techniques are used in AI systems such as recommendation engines, classification models, clustering tools, and prediction systems.

Sep 3 | Day 2: GenAI + Physical AI Systems (ENG)

Instructor: Antoine Merlet

• Session Focus:Combining generative AI with real-world sensing and device control.
• Learning Experience:Participants will discover how Generative AI can move beyond text and images to interact with physical systems. The session introduces AI integration with sensors, devices, and control systems, showing how intelligent systems can perceive, respond, and act in the real world.

Sep 4 | Day 3: Data Privacy, Security & Integrity (TH)

Instructor: Charnon Pattiyanon

• Session Focus:Ensuring data protection, system reliability, and responsible AI implementation.
• Learning Experience:Participants will explore why data privacy, cybersecurity, and data integrity are essential for responsible AI development. The session highlights key risks, safeguards, and ethical considerations when designing AI systems that rely on sensitive or real-world data.

Sep 5 | Day 4: Creative AI Studio (TH)

Instructor: Pisut Wisessing

• Session Focus:A hands-on studio where humans and AI create together.
• Learning Experience:Participants will explore Creative AI through hands-on game development. Students will learn how to shape original stories, visual assets, sound, and gameplay using generative AI as a creative collaborator, then bring these elements together into a playable game.

Sep 6 | Day 5: Agentic AI (ENG)

Instructor: Etienne Mueller

• Session Focus:Building AI agents that can plan, use tools, and complete multi-step tasks reliably.
• Learning Experience:Participants will learn how AI agents differ from basic chatbots and how agentic systems can reason, plan, use tools, and complete complex tasks. The session introduces the foundations of autonomous AI workflows and real-world applications.

Afternoon Workshop: AI Skills with APEX Supercomputer (TH)

Available on Day 2 and Day 4 ✅

Topic: Running LLMs on PC vs. APEX

Instructor: CMKL Engineering Team ( Jarukit Suchat)

• Session Focus:Exploring how large language models perform across different computing environments.
• Learning Experience:Participants will compare running AI models on a personal computer versus CMKL’s APEX Supercomputer. The session introduces key concepts in AI infrastructure, computing power.
